Hi All !

WE are facing a problem:-

We have a few Netware 5 servers.Within our local building, we are able to connect to different servers and the response time for applications is very good.

When we try to connect a server which is about 20km from our office (these two offices are connected by Leased lines and Cisco Routers),we get connected to it but the response time for login/applications is very very high. The applications work without any problem but at a drastically low speed.

At both the sites we have 100Mbps networks and the two sites are connected at 64 Kbps through leased line.

Request your help in solving the issue .....

Thanks in Advance

Upgrade your WAN link to a decent speed. 64Kbps is woefully inadequate - a 2Mb pipe would be more suitable.

Another thing you could do is put servers on each end of the wan link, then partition and replicate accordingly. This would help your logins, but your wan speeds are still going to be way slow for any transfers.
