Extreme XOS upgrades.

I have noticed that when I pull down an update for an extreme switch that I can no longer use the serial number to pull any newer versions of that XOS. I can however use a new serial number and get the latest with that. anyone know why once you update the firmware on say a summit 250 48p that you can no longer get updates for that serialnumber?

I hope my question isn't too confusing.

ken, just to understand you better, say you use serial number xxxxx-xxxxx in the e-support website to download 12.3.3.6, are you saying that using the same serial number, you do not have access to 12.4 but you still have access to 12.3 and below?

If you have a support contract, I would suggest you call TAC.
