I'm running Extreme 3s 2.0 on my G4/400 but am experiencing many application crashes (unexpectedly quit) and I'm wondering if this could be due to general incompatibility with the new OS.  Secondly, since Extreme 3D is no longer supported by Macromedia, I'm wondering what other 3D products might be recommended that would offer the same features (or more, preferably) and that would be relatively easy to learn coming from Extreme 3D.

Try increasing memeory allocation first.
Next idea - check for extension clash.
alternatives: I use Bryce as well as Ex3d - you might find it useful.
