Hello,

I've taken over an aix server from a seperate section of our company. When I send a mail from our server the from address in whoever@ourname.com on the "new" server the from address is whoever@one.ourname.com what's adding the extra bit on?

Okay, if you want to remove "one"

What do you have as "DM" in your sendmail.cf file?
Try changing that to "DMdomain.com"

and turn on Masq Header.

and let me know how that goes.

The DM is already set to DMourname.com

How do I turn on Masq Header?

I've just found out that there is an upstream mail relay could this be adding the extra one?
