I am trying to connect to my company VPN over my DirecWay 2-way satellite system. I am able to ping my company but it will not connect. I have been able to connect once but I had to ping at the same time as connecting. Now that does not seem to work. I am running my Extranet on WinXP. My company IT tells me that I am talking to the authentication server but not negotiating a connection. When I look at my modem up and down link, I do not see the downlink light to my computer flashing. Could the satellite provider be causing problem? I have called them and they told me that it should work. One quirk might be that my company is not running netTraversal. Any ideas?
