extracting SMS from Cellular Modem/Mobile Phone connected to PC

hello all

i just joined the group and i have this first question if u dont mind

i need to extract the sms from my mobile phone (or cellular modem) using my PC. the sms that i extracted from the mobile phone (or cellular modem) will then be processed (i.e. stored in a database somewhere, or send a reply to the sms sender). the mobile phone (or cellular modem) and pc are connected by a data cable (infrared or whatever else is available)

i wonder if u know of an application, dll, or activex component that i can use to create sms-receiving and sms-sending programs with

you'll find SMS Gateway.

You can send and receive sms with it.
It can be steered with VB or VBA.

The RX and TX are save as files an can easely be read into a database.
