Is it possible to find which packages a keycode is connected to without having access to the switch?

The keycode belongs to an option 11c with a corrupt SSC. I tried reinstalling the switch without choosing any packages but get the error message that the keycode is invalid.

Am I out of luck or do I have to contact an Avaya representative?

Best regards
Marcus

Hello Marcus

Yes!, if you can still log in OK.

Go into LD 22 and do..

REQ: ISS
REQ: TID
REQ: SLT
REQ: ISS or ISSP

Then go into LD 143 (from TTY O)
At the dot, key in Upgrade and I think "3" for Utilities.
There should be an option for Summary that is usually "7" or "8" etc.
With all of that information that you have collected, then you should be able to do a full load of a new operating system.

Am I missing something here or does the packages have to be defined?
There is a backup archive if that helps?

You didn't add in "Additional Pkgs : 57". It's an easy mistake to make.

Added 57 in Additional pkgs but still get the Keycode validation error.

Does it have anything to do with the Feature Set not having the same code? ntsk01fc in the old printout and ntm400ff in the installation?

I tried doing it again and managed to get it correctly installed.
Thank you for all your help Firebird, real lifesaver!

That's great news on the keycode validation. It's not something that you do that often, but it is a pain when you do have to do it.

Make sure that you keep the log file for next time.
