Extracting multiple TAR files

Hi,

I've downloaded some compressed files in TAR format.
They are named as: name.tar.000; name.tar.001 and so on.
I don't find any application that allows me to extract this multiple tar files.
Anyone knows anything about it?

Looks like those files were split. Try using HJ Join to join them back to name.tar. I included the link below.

Thanks.
The file got together as a big file, but then gave an error while decompressing.
I think the file has some major problems.

is there or was there one file called something different than the name.tar.000...name.tar.053, etc....

as it could have been split with another program, e.g. WinRAR, which uses a seperate file to keep track of what the range the files are in and the itegrity of the split file, etc...
