Extracting Month from current date

How do I extract the Month name (i.e. March) form the current date.

Monthname(Month(CurrentDate)) should work in v8.5 and up. I am not sure about farther back. You should always put your version of Crystal in these posts.

Also depending on what you are doing, there is not actually a need to write a formula, just format an existing date or date time field to show only the month.
