Hi all. I hope I'm posting this in the correct place, I searched three or four different forums and couldn't find anything.
We have been given an MS Word document loaded with Drop Down Form Fields and Text Form Fields. This is a standard form used by a corporation we are working for to try and automate some of their paperwork (and ours). We would like to put this word document on a web site and have the users fill it out as normal. Then we would like to have some server side process extract the necessary data and put it into a format that our existing software can use. My first instinct is to use VB since it ties in so nicely with Office products. I'm not sure if its possible though. Is there a way (using VB) to extract the data entries from those form fields?
All I'm looking for is a yay or nay, this is just a feasability study at this point. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
