Extracting blank records with a blank date

I need to run a report that only pulls current employees. I would like to select only records with a blank date field. I have no idea how to accomplish this. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Most likely you mean null, not blank. Try this as a record selection formula:

IsNull({YourField})
