Is there a way to get a bit more detail about what you want to do, which backup, etc.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

IP office has a built in backup system. When you try to restore, it does not give you the option to restore specific files.
I have a school system that is using the ip office to record classes. The wanted to have the classes backed up so that can generate a cd with all the classes.

you can use VMPro client to back up and restore. You can select which files you want to backup and restore.

How did they record the classes? Just someone on the call pressing a Call Record button and saving to a mailbox? The VM message is just a wav file in an account directory

You can also install a seperate Voicemail Pro Server on your windows machine and restore the backup to the local database, you would then be able to search through it without having to restore it to the live system

I would look into "Media Manager" if these recordings are that important!

If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH'.
The paint wouldn't even have time to dry.”
