Is possible to extract a list of all items [cubes, reports etc] published to Upfront? Would like to make this available to key users to see what can be removed.

Note: Because our server is dying we need to migrate ASAP so do not really have time to set up auditing and wait for meaningful figures. Seems like an ideal opportunity to have a fresh start!

I have a script somewhere that dumps the upfront contents to a text file - I'll see if I can find it when I'm back on my PC, as I can't see it here with 'search'. Otherwise, you can get a quick list of all items published to Upfront with an XML command.
Code:
http://[i]servername[/i]/cognos/cgi-bin/upfcgi.exe?xmlcmd=<DescribeNewsItem RequestId="AllNewsItems"><Filter><Select>*</Select></Filter></DescribeNewsItem>

Thanks for you response.
I have tried it but unfortunately I get an error saying 'Syntax Error you must supply the following parameters: ID'

I think uou must first log in to Upfront as a user with Root User Class admin rights and then use drlex's code.
