Extra windows when i start IE6

Hi
Im running w98se on a k62-500 box.

I've installed something that very kindly messed up my Internet Explorer.

I since uininstaled the offending software but every time i start IE i get smiley central, & zestyfind websites popping up as well as my homepage.

I tried adaware and spyhunter - they fix the problem temporarirly, but on next reboot - same problem.

any software gems out there that may cure my ills?

You could also try spybot-both running it and using the immunize function.

You could use msconfig and review the startup menu. If there's something there that doesn't look right, uncheck it and try again.

If those dont get it, you may need to run hijack this and post a log for folks to review.
