Sorry for cross posting this to the Oracle 5,6,7 and 8 Threads, but the answer could come from either side.

I was just looking at what objects are owned by what users in my database. Under several accounts, there are a bunch of tables, etc, that were not created by that user. Most of these tables, have names that start with "EVT_", "SM" or "SMP_". I think these were created by Oracle 7's Enterprise Manager.

Since I am using Oracle 8.1.6 to manage these instances, do I still need all of these tables, indexes, etc?

Thanks in Advance... Terry M. Hoey

Ever notice that by the time that you realize that you ran a truncate script on the wrong instance, it is too late to stop it?
