Good Morning!

I have a report which provides a Quotation to customers. I have a main form and a sub form. The sub form takes care of the individual items to be quoted. The Main form holds the customer name, address and other basic information.

My problem here is that I keep getting one blank page before the actual quotation so that I end up with the Quotation starting on Page 2 of 3 for example, when it should be Page 1 of 2.

I have put the subform in the report footer along with a field called Notes which must appear once at the end of each quotation.

Any suggestions?
Lanie
etroidl@conaxfl.com

Well you will have to do some experimenting.
Try removing different things on your report.
such as the subreport and see if it gives the desired result.
Now of course don't save it just remove it and preview it.
This trail an error approach may shed some light on the problem.
It is possible that the subreport is too big to fit on a page or too wide.

I hope you meant or are using a sub "report and Not a Sub form in your report.
LOL, yes I meant subreport . . . . I will keep trying...I have done some experimenting like putting the subreport in the Detail section with the result that if I had 4 lines in the subreport, I got four quotations!

Thanks for your help.

try putting the quotation in the header and the sub report in the Detail section. this should produce 1 quote, and however many of the subreport are appropriate.
Brian Famous
bfamous@ncdoi.net

Hey as long as you're trying everything how about putting the sub report in the report footer?
