Extra newlines in MS Outlook email

Hi,

I'm wondering how to make sure the emails I send in Outlook keep their original format of one empty line between paragraphs (just like this message). My emails look fine when I send them out, but I often get replies where my original email has a bunch of extra newlines. I.e:

"Dear Joe,


This email has too many spaces.


Best,


Rex"

How can I keep the spacing consistent?
