Hello,
I have 2 pcs and 2 linksys wireless g broadband routers. Is there anyway I can use the second router as a wireless access point for my second pc or will I need to buy the Linksys Wireless Desktop Adapter (WMP54G). It's shame to waste it.

Regards,
ashish

What is the best way to use a second router? Can I set up a pc upstairs with the router and increase the range throughout my house. Only thing is that would I need to buy a new cable modem?

You cannot have two cable modems on your connection.

You have choices about the extra router:

. Use it in client mode as suggested earlier. This makes it not only a big wireless adapter, but the four switch ports are also usable in the remote location for access to the router;

. Use it as a repeater. This cuts the bandwidth in half for any client of this repeater as an access point;

. Use it as a WDS mesh AP. This is possible with the firmware links I gave above.
