Extra Character in txt file v8.5

I have this report that is working very well. The only problem is why I export to a text file it adds an extra character to the begging of some lines. It looks random to me.

I will be grateful for any help!

As Vridu says, you'd do better with the latest patches and dlls. Last year, there was a change in Crystal 8.5 that improved it a great deal. If your export-choice says Excel Extended rather than MS Excel 97, then an update should fix it.
