i followed instrauctins
Build a Route
Services – Show
Ringing Service – Next to
Routing Service – Show
Routes – Show
Show Route: 001 – Show
Dialout: No Numbr – Next
changed to PoolA
when i tried addidng destinayion code
it saidd route not defined

Build a Destination Code:
Routing Service – Show
Routes – Next
Dest Codes – Show
Show destcode: - Add
DstCode: (77) – OK
Normal: 000 – Change to route 001
it said route not defind

checked the MICS version
NA MICS 4.0
is there any way arround that
and why it siad route is not defind
 

little more details
this phone is used by security agent
when the agent leave his desk
he need to fwd the ext or .. to his cell
the phone DN is 230
line 1 and line 3 appear and ring on the agent phone (DN 230)

i did checked the faq posting
and it state that You must have at least 4.1 software to execute this feature (forward to external)
and i am wondeing if there is any way arround that

if i get the the 4.1 card
what is involved in sofetware upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1
do i just power off, replace the card,
will system keep it programing
or will it need to be reprogrammed

I have run into this and if you go back to the route and add and out dial # to it then assign the destination code to the route loge out of the system then go back and remove the out dial #.
