I would like to use an external USB hard drive and share it with Windows machines. The drive is used on Linux most of time and only need to be used to transfer files from/to a Windows box occasionally. So I would like to use ext2 (native on Linux). What's the most stable driver for Windows to read/write ext2 volume?

Thanks!

You would be better off using FAT32 on your USB drive as both OS support them natively. A little Yahooing found this. Hope it helps.

Or buy a Network enabled external drive(NAS) these things can be attached to the network and cost hardly more then a USB external drive.
