I've used many external USB cases for IDE hard drives, and they all work well.

I'd like to find a suitable case for an IDE ZIP drive, which will of course need a "front panel" to allow access to the loading slot. I'd guess that the case would be the same as one for a floppy drive.

I've not been able to find such a case. But they must be out there.

Can anyone recommend a source/model #/manufacturer?

Thanks for the help.

I have an AKASA Integral USB external enclosure for 3.5" IDE device (AK-EN-02BK-UK). This has a detachable front panel, and works fine with a 250Mb ZIP drive.
