is external transfer blocked in any way in the PBX? one of my attorneys is saying she called her secy from outside the office and asked secy to then transfer attorney to external client. secy was unable to do so (don't even know what treatment she got). would this be blocked? i can't find anything in NTP about external call transfer. thanks

if it's CFXD secy can't transfer, right? She may be at CFXA (i think). if she is at CFXA, does the CFF/CFO in the cust data block also play a role? or does she just need CFXA? and is there a limit as to how many digits she can externally transfer to?

cff an cfo do play a role in forwarding (LD15) either the originating or forwarding parties CLS is used to determine features on forwarding

sec must have CFXA to allow external forwarding, no limit on digits ( i believe)

So as long as the secy has CFXA in the class of service that's all that's needed to transfer externally? Does that override the NCOS, by the way?

i just found out CFXA means Call Forward External Allowed. I'm asking about transferring an external caller to another external number. Does this parameter still apply?

oh do you mean trunk to trunk.. thats different and requires more programming...
