Just replaced an old R1T1 MICS with a BCM400 4.0. They do trunk to trunk transfer. With Norstar, no problems. On BCM, both trunks lock up and don't release at end of call. Telco tells me that there is only 1 universal setting for Disconnect Supervision, although the lines are coming from a channel bank and I don't believe them. Link is working fine right now, however if they initiate link, they don't have a way to pull call back if they want. (this is why they want to transfer even though it takes two lines)

I still think it is telco, but wondering if anyone could tell me why it would work fine on Norstar but not on BCM. Cards in BCM are 8x16 and GATM4 and it locks on both cards.

I would have to say it is a Telco problem as all my site do trunk to trunk transfers all the time with no trouble.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

I was just thinking, you said Link works. I didn't have that feature at my sites, that may be the difference.

There is an OSI/Flash Timer, check on Norstar and see if time is different than default, 460ms.
