External Transfer through AA Selector Code

Anyone run into issues with the following:

Caller calls in on a trunk, the AA plays an option is to press 1 for emergency service. (selector code to phone extension) That phone is forwarded to an outside number.

If I call the ext the call will forward if I connect to the ext the vmail will not release the call to the outside forward.

I have all vmailports unrestricted and added to trunk transfer and Remote forward.

Trunk to trunk for the Voicemail ports, right? Also check to see if you have the loop start reliable disconnect set to yes. TipHelp@charter.net

Yep trunk transfer all setup etc.. I found out (from Avaya) that you cannot do a unsupervised transfer using the Merlin embedded mail.

I don't know if that is true! Make sure extension and VM port cor and cos set to a high enough level. Also check that the VM box for that extension cos is set to a unsupervised level.

What version is the VM?

I Have set all vmail ports to a unrestricted level added them to trunk to trunk transfer/remote forward and set the ARS to 3 The sets will forard no problem. The problem is in the supervised level of the merlin mail unit. Im not aware of any COS settings in a Magix.

When you set up a mailbox for an extension it asks for class of service. There is usually a chart that shows different box configurations. Choose one that allows unsupervised transfer. It has been my experience also that ARS of 3 is not good enough for off premise transfer. Change to 4.
