Dear all,

I have some db files ( written in paradox) and i would like to open them via microsoft access, when i am trying to do the link of the table, i am getting the following error: "External tables is not in the expecged format." I am using access 2003 with windows xp proffesional SP3.
Could you help me please on that?
The same db files are opening fine from another machine with Access 2003 and XP Windows SP3.
What's going wrong with my configuration?

Thank you very much!

The import of Access is broken on the one machine. If it were Excel or Text files I could tell you the procedure to fix it but I don't know what dll file Access uses for Paradox.

I would try repairing Access / Office on the broken machine.

On the flip side is conceivable possible that there is software that updated the dll on the other computer allowing it to work. I don't expect this at all.
