External SWF Alert problem

Hi all,

I'm making a flashsite and i'm having some problems with my contact form.

I load the form in via loadclip.

I put a control on the fields and when they are empty there should pop up an Alertbox.

This works perfectly fine within the contact.swf but when i run the index.swf , navigate to the contact form and click on the Send button nothing happens...

Also my navigation freezes up from the index.swf when i click the send (probably has something to do with the alert)

Thanks in advance for any idea

I'm guessing it has something to do with scopeing.
