External Speakers

We need to connect external speakers to our Shoretel IP 230 and 480g phones.
I was considering a phone with bluetooth and pairing a bluetooth speaker
Someone else suggested tapping into the speaker wires and running to amplified speakers
who has successfully accomplished a method of making the phones louder for meetings
We have an IP8000 phone and are not impressed with it in case that was suggested.

Have you tried the shoretel 655? it seems to have good audio qualities

How big is the meeting room?

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

The room is about 20x20, so not huge, but it's an office in a manufacturing facility adjacent to large machinery. Some of the older guys don't hear as well as they once did, hence the reason for wanting more volume on conference calls / phone meetings.
We do have some 655s but it's not enough.
