External Projector Zoom

Hi

I have a bit of a strange problem with XP Pro, a Dell Latitude D420 and an external Projector ( well any projector ). When I connect the projector to the laptop and open any application which can zoom i.e. Excel,word, pdf then they all zoom in to the maximum or largest size. So if I go into excel it zooms to 200% and I get about 20 cells on the screen!

Any ideas would be well received.

Have a look at these, see if you are experiencing a similar problem?

"Problem solved. Thanks to the Dell Support site! The problem was with my Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 6000 V2.0. There is an "auto zoom" feature which must be disabled in order to avoid the aforementionned problem
when using projectors. Unbelievable!"
