Alright...I feel like I'm missing something so obvious, but I can't figure out what in the heck is going on.
Put external phone number masks on all our individual directory numbers yesterday...we use four-digit DID extensions, so I set the masks to (not our real prefix/office code, but the mask is the same) 888555XXXX. Everything was passing correctly out our six PRI MGCP T1 gateways.
Today I came in to change the masks on some phones that need to reflect the main numbers at each of our locations...well, when I change it on a 7960 phone, it works fine, but a 7940, it doesn't take the change - it still shows up as the DID number. Wierd! I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.
