I am looking at an Edge DiskGO external hard drive (80GB) to backup our personal computers (laptop and desktop).

Does anyone have experience with this or other external hard drives. Can you use them on multiple PC's since they are USB ports?

Yes you can use any external HD with any machine that has appropriate port (USB in this case) - assuming filestore type used is compatible with host o/s.

Obviously a USB 2 connection is desirable if you're moving substantial amounts of data.
