I seem to have forgotten how to do this!
I want the transfer when you press 7 from the mailbox to use the centrex lines instead of using 2 CO lines off the KSU, I recall you use # in the dialing string but was it before and after the phone number, also was there anything else I should check...did I have to give a the mailbox access to an un-used pool to fool it also?

When I set this up for a customer, I had to put it in front of the dialing string also in some cases I had to put a comma behind the # for a small time out.

In your mailbox for outbound transfer input #529+phone number (ex. for 555-1212 you would input #5295551212)

Curly,
Just working on memory here but I think you need to do a #53 after the dial string in LowRad's example to disconnect the CP from the Telco three way conferencing.
I haven't done this but you might try special character '4' pause/wait for dial tone, instead of 3, pause.

I've done this within the past month on a Call Pilot - nothing is required after the number - it was on a CCR Tree path, not a mailbox, but I don't think there would be a difference.

- You may need to change the outdial for the mailbox to a 'dummy' pool (ex. pool 15) - but try it first using a real line pool so that they can still have message notification.

Lowrad,
I've done this on a mailbox recently.. but seem to remember needing the second hook flash to remove the Norstar from the conference clearing the lines.

Strange.......I replied to this post after lowrads first post, anyway again I got it to work with #9 in front, I setup the mailbox from home on Friday night on customer's system and played with it and entered my cell #, left message with customer to try it Monday morning since I could not view the lines from home, had her press 7 from my test mailbox on her system and to watch the lines to see if it disconnected off the KSU, she said it disconnected from the KSU.
So it's #9 in front of telephone number for Centrex or just # for any other feature lines that offer same type of transfer.

As for after the number Arr perhaps it depends on the software if you need the disconnect code? maybe older software you need the disconnect code, I will try it some day, this may go for the fake line pool too.

Forgot to mention I put 2 pauses in too just incase... #,9, and phone number since it wont matter if you do anyway.

Thanks : )

Curly,
I will go check my customer set up at nex opportunity. I'm wondering if there is a little LEC variablility in this. I'll post and let you all know if my recollections are right or wrong.
