We are looking to connect an external AM/FM antenna for our AM/FM tuner in our office. Has anyone done this before?

For the FM side, Radio Shack sells TV antennas that cover the FM band as well, and FM specific antennas. Run twin-lead or coax from the antenna to the receiver and you should be good. You can mount the antenna in the attic if necessary.

we usually use the old antennae that came with your TV that no one uses anymore. Just put it above the drop-ceiling. If it's a large multiple story building you might have to go on the roof. There is probably an old TV antenna already there.

Some building have a 'community antenna' that is available. Make sure U use a balancing converter if U are going from 'twin-lead to coax' or verse visa. Otherwise U don't get maximum signal.
