I am currently doing some testing on our Exchange 2000 server, since next week (March 3) we are going to be migrating to Exchange 2000 from Lotus cc:Mail.
I am having some problems in testing. One problem is I can't seem to recieve any Internet Email. I can send internally and externally just fine. I will explain the setup that I have.
We have a Webramp that rountes any incoming email from the internet to a pc that has "NAV For Internet Gateways" installed on it. So the Webramp routes the email to PORT 25 on the NAV Gateway. NAV scans the incoming mail then routes it to PORT 25 the Exchange Server. Now this is where the problem exists.
When I go into the Default SMTP Virtual Server and then into the Queues section, I can see my message just sitting there. Nothing happens. It retries to send the message after serveral minutes, but still nothing. When I click the properties on the file, at the very bottom is says "An internal DNS error caused a failure to find the remote server."
Hmmm.....no idea.
Any Suggestions??? HELP!!!!
Thanks.
Nick
