External CC device integration with NCR Aloha or Micros 3700

Is there a way to integrate an external and separate CC processing device with POS? For example, the check/ticket amount can be automatically pushed to the external CC device, and, after processing, check/ticket can be automatically closed? Thank you!

We have had succuss with softpoint datapoint and it solves pci and supports emv...
