When transfering a call to an outside line, the customer is complaining of not being able to hear the conversation properly. It seems somewhat muted? any ideas?

Thanks.

Dave

Loss between two outside parties connected through Norstar has always been an issue. It is better on some systems with some Telcos than with others.
Sorry

give the person your cell number and have them call you direct......or leave cell number in vm message.

You will almost always get a loss thru the system. The best thing to do is to get the ability to do xfers on you CO lines. Some telco will add this ability. That way all you have to do is flash the line and then dial the xfer code and let the carrier to the job. Richard S. McCranie

Is this an Analog line?? Digital lines do not degrade the sound in my opinion.
