Hi,

We have a IPO 9.0.3 500v2 system. When user dialling external number like 098XXXXXXXX using the user short code 0N dial N 101(E1PRI), the smdr out put shows the same number with 0.

How can I remove it.

Thanks
Iramipo

In your PRI line> Remove the 0 from the Prefix-box (Right above the National Prefix)

Kind regards

Gunnar

This has already been answered twice. By intrigrant on 2 previous post.

His response to the question.

Add "NO_DIALLED_REF_EXTERNAL" in the NoUser sourcenumber, then the dialled number will be shown and logged in SMDR instead of the shortcode

That does not remove a leading zero, and if the above mentioned SC is identical with what's being used on the system, there's only the prefix left to blame.

Kind regards

Gunnar

There is no prefix configured in PRI line tab. I hope that is applicable for incoming calls only.

When i checked the external call with SSA>Active calls>details it shows as below,

Digits Sent to Central Office: 98XXXXXXXX
Caller ID sent from Central Office: 098XXXXXXXX

I think the Provider changing the dialed number, am i right?? If so how can i proceed, or any other setting from system side required?

pls help..

Thanks

Sorry I thought he was referring on how to remove the 0 from Smdr output as stated in his first post..
I must have misunderstood what he was asking.

Well, I could be wrong, but I'm under the impression that the "NO_DIALLED_REF_EXTERNAL" applies to calls being placed by a SC hitting an ARS first, or a SC that dials a fixed external number (like: #123/Dial/5551234/Line ID)
(And OP was one of those who got this tip a few weeks ago from Intrigrant [smile])

Could be my programming being different, but my SMDR shows only the number, not the leading 0 on PRI.

OP: Maybe put up the config, we can have a look at it, instead of just guessing?
(Remove things you don't want everyone to see, like mobile numbers, email, etc)

Kind regards

Gunnar

Add a 0 in "Prefix" and a 0 in "National prefix" and a 00 in "International prefix" as mentioned before.
If the leading zero still is shown then use a proper Call Acounting system which removes the leading zero in any report.

Wikcked! You pdf'd your config [smile]

Can't say that I see much difference from what I do.

Do you need a leading zero? There are differnt ways to do the dial directly, depending on how your numbering plan is.

Example:

? / dial / . / 101

You could try that on the IT User, I guess that's your extn.

Kind regards

Why on earth do you have the system set to embedded voicemail while you have a preferred edition license?
I think you have no clue what the system can do so did you have proper training yet?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

@intrigrant-- We have same settings in other customer location IPOffice system, there is no problem at all..i'll try that you've mentioned..thanks

@Gunnaro-- I'll try your suggestion and update soon,,thanks

@tlpeter-- I know we have Preferred edition license. But when you don't have a vmpro server what will you do for voicemail? i did the same..installing vmpro server will remove the zero???? pls understand , my query is regarding the leading zero in the outgoing call...thanks.

thanks all..

Hi,

@intrigrant-- i have tried putting prefix-0,national prefix-0,international prefix-00 the output is same, no difference..

@gunnaro-- i tried as you mentioned, in that case it is only showing the number 98XXXXXXXX..0 is not coming..
also i tried 1N,dial,N,101---and out put came with 198XXXXXXXX
and for 9N,dial,N,101--the output came with 998XXXXXXXX...

But i m really not able to find where the additional digits are adding here (0& 1& 9) ..

any suggestions..?

thanks

So, you did what I told you, and the result was:

Your goal was to get rid of the 0. Mission accomplished. Let's see some pink [smile]

If you route the calls through ARS it will only logs the number send to ARS.
so the user shortcode must be 0N/N/Dial/50:Main
and in ARS : N;/N/Dial/101

Now it shows the number the user dialled including the leading 0.
