external Call Pilot on BCM 450

I am quoting a BCM 450. The customer wants 100 mailboxes but the key codes needed are around $5,000. This seems extreme. Can I use a Call Pilot 150 with 100 mailboxes as an external voicemail using digital station ports instead?

I don't think so since the internal CP uses the feature codes for the VM.

Are you using IP phones ? How are you building the quote, are you using ther bundles ?

The system will be standard bcm 450 with only 1- 32 sta mb,1 16 sta mbm, 1 analog mbm and 1 pri mbm. I would think the internal feature codes won't be activated till it sees a key code or an external Call Pilot.

The answer is no you can't use an external Call Pilot on a BCM of any kind. Don't get your post as the price of 100 Call Pilot Mail Box key codes would be similar to the price of 100 BCM450 key codes.You would then have the extra cost of the Call Pilot 150 hardware even though it is not going to work on the BCM 450.

Even if you don't use the 450 CP you still get the AA and 2 MB's the GD and the admin MB. This is with not keys.
