cant get a ss4150 to call fwd external.sx200 icp.will work if calling from an extension but not from outside the system.

When you say it will work from an extension does that mean that when you call from an internal source, your call will be forwarded externally if you have the called extension set up to forward to an external number? Or do you mean that you can forward to an internal number but not to an external number?

There are a couple of things that you should look at. The first would be the COS of the extension. Make sure that you can call forward externally from an internal and external source. Check the COS of the Trunks. If you want to have an external call forwarded through your extension to an external destination you have to allow Trunk to Trunk connections. Look for an option around 310 to 320 (I can't remember right now and I am not in the office). The other thing to check is your settings in the Device Interconnect form (again I can't remember the form number but you should be able to find it). By default this form has trunks not being able to connect to other trunks. There is an option in the soft keys to see what device the number in the matrix refers to. I think numbers 2-7 refer different types of trunks (CO, DID, E&M etc...).

WARNING!!!!! When you enable all these options, you do run the risk of having the system become a victim of TOLL FRAUD. Be very clear to your customer, unless you are the customer, of this possibility.

Good Luck!
