Hi All,
I have read allot of threads on external call forwarding and almost got my answer. Here is what I am trying to do. Call forward a internal ext 123-1234 ext 5555 to a external # some have suggested using a ACDN which sounds easy enough but do I need to change CFO to CFF in the cdb? That’s were I’m lost can someone tell me what load to look in and how to change this.
Thanks

EXTERNAL XFER
A couple of things to look at in the CDB.
Net Data - TRNX-YES
EXTT-YES

RDR Data - CFF (not CFO)
FTR Data - CFF

a little more....

EXTT (NO) YES (Prevent) Allow unconditional external Trunk to Trunk transfer.
Enter YES to indicate that a caller can transfer a call made to
one outgoing trunk to another outgoing trunk without restrictions
based on supervision. Trunk to trunk connection features such
as TGAR/TARG and Trunk Barring still apply as appropriate.
Enter NO to indicate that the transfer is allowed only if conditions
regarding supervision are met. This prompt only applies to
situations involving two calls originated by the same caller.

Flexible Trunk to Trunk Connection Option

I always use ACD to do the forwarding if this is a permanent number you want to forward, like a Cell phone.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Hey, if it's an actual phone, you can do it by set and not have to open up a global chg, let us know......

Flexible Trunk to Trunk Connection Option has one inherent problem.. 90 percent of calls want to come in on local and go back out on local.. that creates a targ block unless your rdb targ is null.. i use cff, but then monitor cfxa very close.. the biggest problem is users that are smart to cfxa to 9.. that allows them to dial there did, then dial anywhere allowed by there station or auth code..
