external call forward"hard feature 4"on asm

i can do it on fna in programming but having brain fart on the sequence for feature activation on asm is it hookswitch flash * 4 then 9 plus number...then what or does it not work and i am just wasting my time

i ran into somekinda problem like this before ... it didnt like a 9, but i programmed another routing code 88 or 77 and
flash *4 88 number worked

how do you end the string "hookswitch flash * 4 9 18007762199 ......" on internal it returns to dialtone external its just dead air tried * and # and it does nothing

External Call Forward using Feature 4 came out with 4.1 SW and is not well documented. senk1s is correct in using a destination code to access an outside number, you cannot use the pool access code as you may expect.

Don't forget to allow redirect for the ext under Capabilities.
