External Call Forward on Mitel 5000

Hi All

How does people set up external call forwards on the 5000? It won;t let me put external numbers in the call forwarding paths?

Use a phantom that is in turn forwarded externally.

I believe you would setup a remote feature access for call forwarding of the phantom.
Depending on database it would be something like 359 + Phantom DN + Password then # then dial 355 + line access code + destination then #

I have only done an intro course so not 100% sure if this will work, I haven't installed a 5000 yet

Yes that sounds right after having a play, although found another way, set up dynamic extension to the phantom and twin with the mobile also works ok
