Please help. I have programmed Allow Redirect under Capabilities for the extension. The lines are in Pool A with access code 9. When we press Feature 4 and enter 9 plus the telephone number it stays in the screen and then we get a tone and it tells us time-out What am I missing?

Thanks!

You can not use an Acess Code, you need to build a Rout and Desti Code.

So change the acess code for Pool A to none then build a Rout and put Pool A as the lines to use. Then build a Desti Code of 9 and point it out whatever the Rout you just built is.

Will this affect my users that dial 9 for the existing pool A? I'm assuming they will be able to call out following the Route and Desti code. Thanks

just point the route to pool A once u assign a destination code of 9.

And if you had line pool A button programmed on all the sets(feature 649),just reprogram them using Feature *1+button+9.

Can I build my route with a different access code (8) and point it to pool A instead of changing my line pool access code (9) that everyone else uses for calling out and having to reprogram buttons? So access code 8 would only be used for external forwarding.

Thanks for your help! All's working fine now
