New PRI for a BCM 400, but the CO is coming IP and converting to PRI via an Adtran.
Everything works accept the Call Forward from outside just like the thread below has mentioned. Has anyone had this issue and corrected it?
The only workaround I've heard is that your customer may be able to access a page from the provider via the web where they can forward their DID prior to it arriving at the BCM.
I did speak with them again and we worked with the carrier. The problem is just like the thread alluded to they are seeing my calling information and rejecting the call. They spoke with a tech at Nortel and he said to turn off the Diversion Header. Well the only reference I see that even talks about Diversion is in the Private Networking area. We tried that and it did not work do you know anywhere else to look?
Send Name made no difference. Any other ideas? We tried playing with OLI but if you turn that off for the phones then you can not even dial out. TAT and TRO under Networking are for Private Networks correct and not Public? Just looking for a way not to send the calling party information back out to the carrier.
Yup.
I think you're pretty much hosed.
Had a friend with a similar problem.
The provider had a web portal that allowed users access to their DID so they could redirect to another destination.
Problem solved!
If your provider doesn't provide such a service, it might be time to change providers.
Tell them that and I'd bet a jelly donut they'll come up with a solution for you.
