Hello Guys, BCM50 R6 with analogue trunks (supervision activated) AA answers all calls during the day & night. At night option 2 goes straight to a mobile/cell, this works fine.
During the day option 2 rings a deskphone with call fwd external set to the mobile. Works internally, but doesn't when calls route via the AA. Tried various 'work-arounds' like using a hunt group, overflow, unused extn with permanent fwd, FMFM, I even tried an analogue port connected to a spare trunk port with redirect set, but no joy
Any ideas? Will it just not work via AA or am I missing something?

make sure allow redirect is set to yes on the phone. I know you're not using that feature, but it seems to affect external transfers. Also see if you call to that phone, call main number dial the extension in question, answer the call and see if you can manually transfer it externally.

Allow redirect is set, and I can answer a call not routed via AA and transfer it externally. Only externally forwarded calls (fwd no answer OR fwd all) via AA do not work. Frustratingly, on my demo BCM50 it works fine, albeit using BRI trunks. I assume that being able to transfer externally and diverting externally, it should work whether it routes via the AA or not.
I have also allowed redirect etc on the VM port just in case it affects it, and have switched off transfer callback
I appreciate that just one setting could be stopping the show, but I have checked everything I can think of

I had that problem a long time ago and if I recall, I had to give line pool access to the voicemail DNs for it to work. I think it's because the voicemail is doing a supervised transfer, Check your vm system parameters too.

I have already set line pool access (& redirect) to DN 334, are there other VM DNs?

Yes, 334 is just the default main DN. The BCM50 comes with a default of 10 voicemail Dns. You can see what they are by looking under Application DNs or launching the Monitor and looking under the Voice Channels tab (I think). They're listed under one of the tabs in the Monitor. Just have a look. You'll find them quick enough.

What happens when i goes via AA in day mode?

No difference in day or night mode. All VM DNs have full line Pool access and redirect allowed, but still no joy
