Hi,

I have got a system set up as follows:

My incoming calls all route to a Ring Group which ring a number of extensions.

I would like calls from this number to automatically forward/divert to a mobile number at the press of a button.

How (if possible at all) is this possible?

Thanks

You would need an answer point; an AA to answer the call as a menu node if you want people to press button(s) to forward to an outgoing number or to specific hunt groups.

Is the pilot number going directly to this ring group - or -is it being answered by an Auto Attendant and then going to the ring group?

The incoming number (XXXXX XXX100) is ringing a ring group of 100 so there is no AA answering the calls!

Can there not just be a button on the 5330 IP Phone that can pressed (like a toggle on/off feature) which turns the Night Service (call forwarding) on or off depending on time of day?

Thanks

Yes it's all doable (apart from the Time of day part!)

First thing though, you can't re-route a Ring Group. So you need to create a dummy number (Hunt Group) and in Day mode re-route cals from the dummy hunt group to the ring group and under Night Service 1 or 2 re-route to a speeddial (being your external number)

On the 5330 you mentioned, programe 2 keys, one for day service and one for night service. These are programmed as CDE speedcalls with the FAC for Day/ Night service (if you don't know then the FAC plus 0 is day 1 = night 1 and 2 = Night 2. i.e. if the FAC was *4 the day key will be proged as *40 and night will be *41

Then you can change service at the touch of a button whenever you want! Make sure the COS of the handset allows you to activate Night service

Unfortunately Scheduled services is being looked at. There is a schedule but it's not that great. Try the above first

Hope that all makes sense

MitelMatt's suggestion is best with the Dummy Number as a pilot that gets redirected as necessary.

The Night service switching might not be best as the group in question might have times when they want the redirection active while the rest of the system runs normally.

I use the Call Forward Third Party access code in these cases to forward the call. To avoid misdialing I create a system speedcal to dial the code and program on and off buttons on the set ot sets.

If you dont want to burn keys, you can make the speedcall easy to remember. Something like 1*XXXX for on and 2*XXXX for off where XXXX= the number to be forwarded.
