I need to figure out the best solution for getting a better signal to a Verizon Aircard used in a laptop in the back of a box truck. Being that the truck sides are metal, the connection quality is pretty sketchy. I could go for a antenna that is portable, as the laptops are only in use when the trucks are stopped with the back doors open, or a low profile antenna of some sort that mounts on the top/side/back/front of the truck without a lot of downtime for the truck.

I'm using PMCIA cards currently, but I'm not totally opposed to new cards or USB cards if I have to go that route. If anyone is doing anything similar, it would be great to get your feedback and experience. Thanks!
