Hi All
Is it possible to have incoming outside calls to the conferrence bridge i.e have a disa set up to a hunt group and then connect to the conferrence bridge ? any ideas
Cheers Hitechbuzz.

conference calls, usually work, that an extension on the MD dials out, to each extension and conferences them in.

So as far as I know you can't do that the other way round.

Have not played with DISA, so I could be wrong

Thanks Lancbomb
I was talking to another tech the other day and although he could not remember how it was done it did not require a Disa cct only a DDI. Set up with auto answer. He was going out to a site sometime next week and would see what he could find out.
Thanks Singhbrindisi
It was the standard conference facility on the MD that I was wanting to use.
We have BC10 about to go to BC12 and DNA 5.2 running on Windows 2003 server.
Thanks Guys.

Hitechbuzz,

You can actually do it using alarm extension under special
extension facility on MD110. Just assign DID number to this
alarm extension & you can dial it from outside,up to 7 calls can be connected simultaneously but the
accessibility to the conference and intrusion facilities decrease when an alarm extension is initiated.

Hi Rokane
Have been v busy it works ok for internal calls but when I dial the nuber for outside it just rings and if I call the extension number while it is ringing I get "not allowed cats" when I drop the call it is fine. Does the extn have to be an analog or can it be a digital

Cheers Brian

HITECHBUZZ,

You need to use one analog extension programmed as special extension (alarm) & connect it to a special gadget that will make the extension auto answers when call comes. After
that, all call to this extension will be connected as conference calls.
