EXTENSION_3999 ! Is it a Big Deal to Change?

Greetings All,

Is it a big deal to change the huntgroup extension for Voicemail,(3999) in my case, on a SV_8100? Does changing
HG_Extension in 45-01 impact the unit eslewhere?

There are several programs to look at if you wish to change the hunt group extension for voice mail. What do you want to change it to?

You will have to change everything that uses that pilot number. Cf to voicemail on all extensions DID..etc...

There are a few MB's that would need to be programmed.
11-01, 3 = 4 digits for extensions. May already be set.
11-07, hunt group pilot number, change 3999 to 3888 for the VM hunt group. If it already exists you will get an error and the location.
24-09, reprogram call forwarding to 3888.
No need to touch 45-01.
Any one touch keys that had 3999 specified will need to be changed to 3888.
