Hi!

I am very new to MySQL. Can you please let me know what is the extension of a physical database file of MySQL? In which folder normally can I get the same?

a database is not stored in one single file, for every database there's a folder created (default i think is /usr/local/mysql/data) and for each table there are three files tablename.MYI, tablename.MYD and tablename.frm
